This two story commercial building sits next door to the Magnolia Petroleum Co. Gas Station and has fronts on both Jackson and Commerce Streets. The remaining buildings to the west on the block have been demolished. This structure is a good example of early 20th Century Commercial Architecture. It also sits in an area the is primarily parking lots, but a few examples of small two story buildings remain.
