Ferris Plaza
Houston & Young St. - 1925; 2005
Ferris Plaza is a one block city park bounded by Houston, Young, Record, and Wood Streets. The park is across the street from Union Station, the Dallas Morning News, WFAA-TV, the Belo Building, and the Hotel Lawrence. The park occupies one city block and has a dynamic fountain in the center. The park was designed by Architect George Dahl. The fountain was restored in 2005, and due to limited funds, only runs two hours each day.
