Hart Furniture Building

1933 Elm - 1888

This Victorian Structure, is actually three separate buildings.  The were all constructed around 1888.  These are some of the few buildings remaining in Downtown Dallas that was constructed before 1900.  The three story retail building features tall windows, painted brick, and an ornate cornice.  This is one of the better Victorian structures in downtown.  For many years, it was the home of Hart Furniture Company.  In 2003, the paint was stripped off of the facade and the building was restored.  The part of the building facing Pacific has been converted into a night club called Blue.
