Manor House
1222 Commerce - 1966
Until 1999, this high rise apartment building was the only one in Downtown Dallas. With 292 units, the Manor House features a rooftop swimming pool and fitness center. The building's design is out of reinforced concrete with brick on the north and south facades. The building was designed by Dallas architect Dales Y. Foster. A large red neon sign at the top of the north wall identifies the building. The Manor House is 26 stories and 319 feet high, making it the 43rd tallest in the city.
