One Dallas Centre

One Dallas Centre was designed by I.M Pei & Partners and was originally part of a multi-building complex that was scheduled to be constructed on the remainder of the block.  Pei also designed Fountain Place, Energy Plaza, and the Dallas City Hall.  The tower is a parallelogram in shape with a triangular shaped notch taken out of the north and south sides.  The building's exterior materials consists of aluminum spandrel with gray glass bands.  The building is located at a DART Light Rail station, and is located on the 45 degree street grid.  One Dallas Centre is 448 feet high and has 30 floors of office space, making it the 24th tallest building in Dallas.
